Dear guests, our hotel business is taking a short break:

from the 25th November 2018 to the 25th December 2018
from the 31st March 2019 to the 13th April 2019
from the 24th November 2019 to the 25th December 2019

However, for inquiries or bookings you can get in touch with us during these times by phone or by e-mail!

  • No coach party tourism, Individual travellers only
  • Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets
  • **** TUI Classified (2006 / 2008 / 2014/ and 2017: TUI Holly Award Winner
    and 2017 and 2018 TUI Top Quality Winner Award)
  • Hot food available continuously from 12.30 p.m. onwards, as well as snack times, coffee, cake and a selection of ice creams: extra service
    – we are happy to offer this for our hotel guests in the lobby or on the terrace, including guests in bathrobes –
    (please tell us about allergies or food intolerance when booking)
  • Rooms will be available for you on the day of arrival from 3.00 p.m.
  • Please vacate your rooms on the day of your departure by 11.00 a.m.
  • You can access all floors comfortably using the lift
  • You can get to our Sommerland facility easily using a hotel passageway (bathrobe passageway)
  • Starting point for hikes; our own footpath leads to the town
  • From the town of Bodenmais (there is free parking in the town with a parking card – close to the bus stops) there are connections to the ski transfer bus (hiking bus) to the Arber region and Bretterschachten with the GUTI ticket!
  • Towelling slippers available on site for a small fee
  • We will be happy to send wellness products from our Sommerland to your home (+ postage)
  • Visitors’ tax will be charged extra on site
  • Please pay in cash or by debit card (no credit cards)
  • Wellness appointments: Please understand that we cannot give a definite confirmation for wellness appointments on particular days
    or at fixed times. Because of re-bookings for a variety of reasons,
    it is always possible that we will have to make changes at short notice. Of course, we always make every effort to take your wishes
    into account as far as possible – many thanks for your understanding!

Our general cancellation conditions

(Periods of notice do not apply for bookings over Christmas/New Year)

Free of charge up till 12 weeks before start of holiday
11-8 weeks before start of holiday 50%
7-2 weeks before start of holiday 80%
from 8 days before start of holiday 90%

We recommend:
taking out a cancellation insurance policy

(except for CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR bookings:
– taking out the hotel’s own cancellation protection is unfortunately not possible for these dates!

Hotel cancellation protection:
On the transfer of € 10.00 per person for short bookings up to 4 nights
or
€ 2.50 per person per night for bookings from 5 nights
In the event of sickness of the person travelling, we do not charge an empty bed fee if a medical certificate is submitted (otherwise, our periods of notice for cancellation apply).

Please remember to make your transfer within 1 week of receipt of confirmation!
It is no longer possible to take out insurance: 
for bookings at short notice, i.e. less than 3 weeks before the start of the holiday!
